From what age can you participate in an escape game?
Would your child like to take part in an escape game, or would you like to organise an escape game for their birthday with their friends? But you're not sure who escape games are really for? Let us explain.
At what age can you play an Escape Game?
The age often depends on the Escape Game in question and the maturity and experience of each child.
However, most escape games are designed for players over 12 years of age due to the complexity of the puzzles, the themes, the rules of the game etc.
For some escape games, you must be at least 16 or 18 years old: these are escape games with explicit content, horror games or games that include alcoholic beverages.
It is therefore often recommended that the escape game be played with the family, with adults able to help solve the riddles.
Escape Games for children
There are Escape Games designed just for children: escape games that can be played at home or outdoors.
At Escape Kit, for example, you can find games like "The Little Prince's Journey" for very young children aged 3 and over.

Our games for 8-12 year olds
Some escape games are forbidden to children because the content of the game is designed for adults (violent, frightening, sexual, inappropriate content,...).
This is why we have decided to create games specifically for children. To avoid ambiguity and to reassure parents and children that the content of our escape games is aimed at young people. We have therefore created two games for children aged 8 to 12.

Our games for teenagers
There are also games for teenagers only. These escape games can be more complex than those for children, with more difficult puzzles and more mature themes.
Our games for teenagers are also aimed at an adult audience. We offer several urban adventures: a zombie story, a private detective investigation or a completely crazy world in which to deal with very specific phobias.
This last escape game, Crazytopia, is shorter than the average of our other games and allows you to test several features in our app.
